Happy Monday Tiger Nation! Here is this morning’s Clemson Tigers News.

Scoreboard

Clemson Women’s Basketball 92, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 66: The Tigers defeat UAPB on the third day of the Van Chancellor Classic in Houston, Texas.

Amari Robinson and Dayshanette Harris each scored 15 points for the Tigers. MaKayla Elmore led with 11 rebounds.

Next up for the Tigers is a road trip to The Plains to take on Auburn in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Thursday.

Clemson Men’s Soccer 1, New Hampshire 0: The Tigers defeat the Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen to book a place in the Elite Eight.

Ousmane Sylla scored in the 35th minute, and goalkeeper Joseph Andema and the defense did the work from there.

Not only are the Tigers advancing to the quarterfinals, but they will now host one more game at Historic Riggs Field. Stanford upset overall No.1 seed Marshall, which means Clemson is the higher seed and will host the game to determine who advances to the Final Four.

Clemson Football commitments comment on Palmetto Bowl win

The Clemson Insider got several comments from commitments to Clemson Football’s 2024 Class following the Tigers’ victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday.

This quote from 5-star Sammy Brown stands out:

"“Well to keep it frank, our defense is incredible. I cannot wait to be there and be able to play under such a great staff and a great defense. It’s always great to win the state especially after how it went last year and I’m really excited to see how Clemson plays in the bowl game.”"

I think Brown will be a key piece of the linebacker group as a freshman.
