Beaux Collins, Jake Briningstool and Josh Sapp each caught a touchdown as well. Collins led the team in yards with 65 and Brown led in receptions with 7.

Phil Mafah led the ground attack with 96 yards on 17 carries. Will Shipley made his return and had 77 yards on 11 carries and three receptions. The running backs had another solid day behind the re-tooled offensive line.

The Tiger defense had four interceptions, all by freshmen. Shelton Lewis returned his pick for a touchdown.

Kylon Griffin had his second pick in two games.

Aveion Terrell and Khalil Barnes had the other two.

Barrett Carter was a late scratch. Head coach Dabo Swinney explained:

"“Barrett rolled his ankle Wednesday night. We thought he was going to be able to go, and he did everything he could Thursday & Friday to try to get himself ready, but didn’t feel stable as he needed to be this morning.”"

Hopefully Carter can be ready against the Tar Heels this coming weekend. His absence didn’t slow down his teammates. Jeremiah Trotter had two tackles for loss and one sack. DeMonte Capehart, Wade Woodaz and Justin Mascoll each registered a sack as well.

The defense had eleven total tackles for loss.
