Clemson Women’s Soccer 3, Notre Dame 2: The Tigers win in Cary to reach the ACC Championship Game!
Megan Bornkamp got the scoring started in the 24th minute on a long header. Notre Dame tied it shortly after halftime, but Tatum Short put a move on a defender and took the lead back in the 54th minute.
Caroline Conti knocked in a penalty kick in the 64th minute to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead. The Irish found the net one more time, but it wasn’t enough.
The Tigers now move on to play Florida State for the championship on Sunday.

Injuries increase for Clemson Football
This is the definition of adversity: Clemson Football will be dealing with more absences due to injury, and its in the one place they can’t afford it.
Tiger Illustrated is reporting that Marcus Tate will miss time due to an injury suffered during practice.

Additionally, Colin Sadler is also dealing with an injury. This means Tristan Leigh most likely returns to the left tackle spot after moving to right guard against NC State. While neither Mitchell Mayes nor Harris Sewell held down the right guard spot, they likely will both start against the Irish with one stepping in a right guard and the other at left.
