Prediction: Notre Dame at Clemson Football
Clemson’s offense is struggling mightily, and it looks like those struggles might get worse. Tiger Illustrated posted yesterday that Marcus Tate will be out for a while due to injury, and there is a real chance Colin Sadler and Tyler Brown will not play tomorrow either.
Cade Klubnik has taken the brunt of the blame for Clemson’s problems on offense, and he has been responsible for several turnovers, but the problems start with the offensive line.
The Clemson defense is good, but I am not sure they are good enough to prevent Sam Hartman and Audric Estime from scoring points. That means Clemson’s only hope is to put points on the board as well.
It feels much more likely that the Clemson offense will deliver the Irish multiple short fields Saturday.
I’m taking the Irish on the moneyline, the Irish minus the points, and the over on the points total.
