Clemson Football freshmen recognized by The Athletic
The Athletic has named two Clemson Football freshmen to their midseason Freshmen All-American team.
On wide receiver Tyler Brown:
"“Brown, a three-star in-state recruit, has turned 24 catches into 338 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also contributing as a punt returner. His 153 receiving yards against Syracuse were the most by a Clemson true freshman receiver since Justyn Ross in 2018.”"
On defensive end TJ Parker:
"“The 6-foot-3, 255-pound top-50 recruit from Phenix City, Ala., ranks second to Miami’s Bain among freshmen for quarterback pressures with 17. Parker leads Clemson with 8.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. His 199 snaps are second among Tigers defensive linemen behind only Tyler Davis (202).”"

Etienne and Trevor Lawrence broke their Superdome curse last night with a 31-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Speaking of the Saints, this is a great story from TigerNet about Clemson Football alum Brian Bresee volunteering his time at the American Cancer Society Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge in New Orleans.
