Scoreboard

Clemson Women’s Soccer 1, Duke 0: The Tigers went on the road and shut out the 23rd ranked Blue Devils.

Goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz earned her tenth clean sheet of the season. Makenna Morris scored on a penalty kick at the 28th minute, and the Clemson defense took control from there.

Head coach Eddie Radwanski:

“Duke is never an easy game to play, especially on their home field but I thought we were in control for a good portion of the match especially in the first half. I saw a lot of good things in our game model that we are trying to stay true to and so I give the kids credit for that. It’s exciting to get the win, grabbing three valuable points in the standings in the ACC, so we’re still in contention so we are going to put our heads down and get back to work.”

Clemson next plays Louisville Thursday at Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson Volleyball defeats Miami 3-2 (15-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10): The Tigers came back twice to force a fifth and deciding set, which they won to take the match from the Hurricanes.

Mia McGrath had 13 kills and four aces. Mckenna Slavik had another double-double with 41 assists and 17 digs.

The Tigers are now 12-7 and 3-4 in the ACC.
