Clemson Football kicking job open for competition in practice
During his call-in show last night, head coach Dabo Swinney continue to reiterate that this Clemson Football squad is not a horrible team, and that the loss to Duke was ‘indescribable’ because of it’s bizarre nature. The Tigers successfully drove the ball into the red zone on multiple occasions but left scoreless on most of them.
Swinney was asked about the kicking duties following two blocked field goals against Duke. Swinney responded that they were looking at their options.
Dabo Swinney, asked about the kicking situation, says Clemson FB gave backup kicker Quinn Castner a try tonight in practice over starter Robert Gunn III (two FGs blocked on what Swinney deemed "low kicks"). Says he's still got confidence in Gunn, though

BT Potter was at Clemson for a long time, so some fans may not recall that he was shaky at times as a freshman too. I think its too early to give up on Gunn, but also responsible to consider all the options. Aidan Swanson can kick as well.
Duke professors have no chill
Duke quarterback led his team to an upset victory over the Top-10 ranked Clemson Football on Labor Day evening, and he politely asked his professor for some grace on a homework assignment that was going to be late.
His professor was not accommodating.
Tough lesson to learn for Duke's QB Riley Leonard after asking his professor for an extension on his homework following the Blue Devil's win over Clemson last night 😂
