The preseason for Clemson Football ends on Labor Day, but some programs ended it last weekend.

That doesn’t mean we are done with preseason watchlists.

Tiger freshman Peter Woods has been named to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award preseason watchlist. The award is given annually to the most outstanding freshman in college football.

The award is named after Shaun Alexander, who played for the Alabama Crimson Tide in college before several seasons in the NFL with Seattle and Washington.
