Good morning, Clemson Nation! Happy Tuesday!

Clemson Men’s Soccer plays second exhibition tonight

Clemson United will take the field for another exhibition tonight against Furman. The game will begin at 7:00 PM on Historic Riggs Field. This is the second of three exhibitions before they begin their regular season schedule against UCF on August 24th.

Today is the deadline for programs to inform the ACC they are leaving

Today is the day that institutions must inform the Atlantic Coast Conference if they intend to exit the league following the conclusion of the 2023 athletic calendar. With all the realignment that has happened in the past month, plenty of eyes have been on programs like Clemson and Florida State to see if they are ready to make a move.

Clemson has kept their discussions and opinions close to the vest, but Florida State has been much more open about their dissatisfaction with the ACC. Nicole Auerbach and others made this observation yesterday.

I wouldn’t put anything past anyone to have had all the approvals needed already, but if a BOT meeting is required for FSU to finalize any decisions, it would seem today will be a quiet day in Tallahassee.

AP Top 25 individual ballots have been revealed

The Tigers finished ninth in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll, just behind ACC foe Florida State.

We now have the individual voting results from the members of the press that voted, and as always there are fascinating things to note.

Three voters had Clemson as high as fifth: Kate Rogerson from WTVD in Durham, North Carolina; Scott Springer from the Cincinnati Enquirer; and Greg Madia from The Daily Progress, a newspaper published in Charlottesville, Virginia.

One voter had the Tigers as low as eighteenth: Dave Reardon from the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

The two voters who put Michigan at No. 1 on their ballots were Rece Davis from ESPN and Kirk Bohls from the Austin (Texas) American Statesman.

The voter who put Ohio State at No. 1 on their ballot was Robert Cessna from the Bryan-College Station (Texas) Eagle.
