TJ Green returns to Clemson Football to assist and finish his degree

Dabo Swinney announced Friday that another player has returned to assist with coaching the team.

TJ Green has joined the staff as a student assistant. Green played for the Tigers from 2013-15. He played seven seasons in the NFL and has returned to Clemson to complete his degree.

While he is finishing his classes, he will be a student assistant coach for the 2023 season.

Dabo Swinney talks wide receiver depth

When asked about the wide receivers, Swinney gave us his impression on the expected depth as the team begins fall camp.

I would agree with Swinney that if all five are 100% healthy and available for the season, they will get the job done. The concern is always health and the depth behind those first five.

Realignment churns on while Clemson Football starts fall camp

It seemed yesterday that the PAC-12 was going to hold on with nine members for 2024 and possibly expand to stay alive. All that changed when the Big Ten formally offered Oregon and Washington a spot in their conference, and the two Pacific Northwest schools accepted.

Soon after, Arizona State & Utah joined Arizona and Colorado in a move to the Big 12. Now, the only schools for 2024 are Stanford, California, Washington State and Oregon State. The PAC-12 as we have known it might be gone, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see PAC 2.0. The conference could look to add more teams and try to utilize the brand recognition of the PAC name. Obvious options are San Diego State, Boise State, UNLV and possibly schools like SMU, Colorado State or Fresno State.

The Clemson Volleyball team is getting some preseason love. Mckenna Slavik has been named to the preseason All-ACC volleyball team. The team is voted on by the league’s coaches.

Pro Football Focus has announced their Top 50 players for the 2023 college football season and two Clemson Tigers have made the cut. Jeremiah Trotter is ranked 12th and Barrett Carter is ranked 33rd.
