Conference realignment marches on

For you Clemson fans following the realignment drama, one more shoe dropped last night.

Last night Ross Dellinger revealed that the Big 12 approved Arizona to be the newest member of the conference.

All that remains now is for the Board of Regents to approve the move.

It has long been speculated that the “Four Corners Schools” could leave the PAC-12 for the Big 12. Two have now made it a reality. Arizona State and Utah would be next.

While those two schools are on the Big 12’s wishlist, they aren’t moving quite as fast.

"“Decisions from Big 12 expansion targets Arizona State and Utah have not progressed as quickly as Arizona, but they remain viable options for the league and a conclusion is expected in a matter of days, sources tell @YahooSports.”"

At what point does the realignment make it to the ACC? It’s still hard to guess.

Big Dex represents Clemson Football on The NFL Top 100, Rodgers finds new NFL home

Clemson Football has placed another player on The NFL Top 100. This time it is defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence coming in at No. 28.

Another Clemson Football alum has found a new opportunity in the NFL. Wide receiver Amari Rodgers has agreed to a new contract with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts drafted Anthony Richardson from Florida in the 2023 NFL Draft, so they will be in a rebuilding phase. This is a good opportunity for Rodgers to grow with a young core of players.

Clemson Baseball gets a 2024 commit

Head coach Erik Bakich picked up another commitment for the Clemson Baseball program from Class of 2024 player Talan Bell.

Bell is a left-handed pitcher….

….and he’s a left fielder who is good at the plate.

Bell will graduate high school in 2024, so he will join the Tigers as a freshman for the 2025 season.

Hey students! If you have a background with tech and would like to be a part of the Clemson Softball team, they have a job for you!
