Tee Higgins makes the G.O.A.T. announcement video of Clemson Football

Tee Higgins was a member of the Class of 2017 from Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee. He had been named after Tennessee star quarterback Tee Martin, so some thought his destiny remained in-state.

In August 2015, he affirmed those beliefs by verbally committing to the Tennessee Volunteers. He decommitted, however, in early February 2016 after an unofficial visit to Clemson.

From there, Higgins concentrated on Clemson, Tennessee, Florida State, Ohio State, and Ole Miss. On July 4th, 2016, Higgins released a video to announce his college choice.

To be completely honest, I had already begun enjoying my holiday by the time I saw his video. I had eaten a good meal and had a few beverages with friends. Suffice to say I was already in a good mood, as I think was the case for a lot of my fellow Clemson fans that day.

The video shows Higgins enjoying the holiday with his family and friends, various persons wearing or using gear sporting his finalists. After the meal, Higgins stands behind a plunger detonator that triggers a round of fireworks.

The light show makes the sky glow orange and purple. When the camera returns to the crowd, they are now wearing Clemson shirts and celebrating.

The final scene shows a close-up of the group cheering in unison “We’re All-In!” The camera then zooms out to show a flaming Paw in the pond behind them.

I’m pretty sure I yelled “LET’S GO!!” very loudly, confusing several people nearby.

It was the best firework of the entire holiday for Clemson fans and still stands as the G.O.A.T. of Clemson Football announcements.
