Despite being 15-3 and 7-0 in the ACC Clemson Men’s basketball still has some naysayers and I get that to a certain extent.

This is a team that needs to prove it every time they’re on the court and rarely gets the benefit of the doubt whether it’s from fans, pollsters, computers or talking heads.

A few of the latter are starting to take notice and I’ll admit if I weren’t a Clemson fan they wouldn’t be the sexiest team around.

But here’s the thing: They get the job done in various ways, through various players.

Missing a guy who shoots 50% from three? No problem, watch Hunter Tyson go for 5 straight double-doubles.

What’s that? Tyson has a rare off day? Watch Ben Middlebrooks and Ian Schieffelin muscle their way to 13 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists.

What a wild and crazy time to be a Clemson basketball fan right now.  I’ve been a Clemson fan so long, I usually have a story about “back in ’49” or something similar, but at no time in my life have the Tigers been 7-0 in the ACC.

And I’m old!

You’ve got to give Brad Brownell credit.  People talk about Dabo being willing to make changes, but Brownell made a huge change we brought up several times in the preseason: Bigger guards.

He’s made changes, including going to bigger guards, and this is a well-coached team, which is something Clemson fans have longed for over the years.

Clemson Men’s Basketball fans proved they will support a winner

It’s the age-old question.  What comes first the chicken or the egg?  What comes first the winning or the fan support?

Clemson fans proved they will support basketball if they have a winning team to support.

The effort by the Tigers was incredible as was the fan support.

Trevor leads Jags all the way back

Trevor Lawrence had the worst first half of football the NFL playoffs has ever seen with 4 interceptions.

He also had one of the best second halves ever as Jacksonville overcame a 27-0 deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-30 behind 4 touchdown passes from Lawrence and 109 yards on the ground from Travis Etienne.

Look who made an appearance at halftime of the basketball game.

It’s been a whirlwind since Thursday afternoon, but as always, it’s a great day to be a Clemson Tiger!
