In recent seasons, most big games for Clemson Men’s Basketball have resulted in an “L” and that looked to be what was about to happen Saturday in Pittsburgh.

But the Tigers showed their grit, outscoring Pitt 13-5 to win the game and take over sole possession of first place in the ACC.

I was impressed by the coaching and by the contributions of every player that played for the Tigers.  This is not a deep team, but everyone contributes on most nights.

Of the 10 players who saw time, 9 scored, with only Dillon Hunter going scoreless in his 9:02 on the court, but he did contribute a steal.

After completing a road sweep, Clemson Men’s Basketball plays two at home this week

After winning two ACC road games this week, the Tigers host Louisville on Wednesday and Duke on Saturday.

Clemson Women’s basketball (11-5, 2-2) takes on Syracuse (11-4, 2-2) on Sunday at 2 p.m. on ACCNX.

It wasn’t a great season for the Oakland Raiders and Saturday’s season finale was no exception as they were blasted by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Renfrow has come back to play and on Saturday he hauled in 7 catches on 7 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown, while Clelin Ferrell had a sack.

Renfrow finishes the season with 36 receptions for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Trevor, Travis and the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars are headed to the NFL Playoffs as the AFC South Division Champions after beating the Tennessee Titans 20-16 Saturday in Jacksonville.

It wasn’t the best game for either former Clemson star, but the Jaguars managed to win their 5th consecutive game on the strength of their defense in the win.

The season has been a remarkable turnaround from the 3-14 debacle of 2021 under Urban Meyer, completing a 6-game improvement year over year.

Lawrence finished 20 of 32 for 212 yards and a touchdown, but missed badly on a couple of easy throws for an NFL quarterback, which put the Jaguars in jeopardy.

Etienne was never able to gain much traction against the stout Titans run defense, gaining only 17 yards on 7 carries and also having 17 yards receiving on 2 receptions on the evening.
