The Orange Bowl seems a long way off after 13 games in 14 weeks, but Clemson football has already decided which color combo to wear in the orange-filled game.

It appears the Tigers have decided to go with the orange pants and white jerseys, though there was some “think” in the statement.

Yesterday, I wrote about where Myles Murphy and Bryan Bresee could end up in the 2023 NFL draft.  Murphy’s up-and-down season, Bresee’s injury, and the tragedy-filled season still lead to high NFL Draft slots for both.

Where will D.J. Uiagalelei end up next season?  Odds are UCLA or Oregon, but there are some strange names on this list of potentials, if you ask me.

Virginia? Sure Tony Elliott is there, but many believe the Clemson offense was not a fit for D.J. so he’s going to go to a team coached by the former long-time Clemson offensive coordinator?

I’m thinking West Coast, but admittedly have no information other than D.J. is from the West Coast.

Speaking of the portal, a surprising number of Clemson fans that responded to this poll believe the Tigers will be using the portal this go-round.

It appears that Clemson may be finally closing in on it’s running back for the Class of 2023 if this tweet is being interpreted correctly.

His name is Jamarious Haynes from Handley High in Roanoke, Alabama and he has an offer from Washington State along with Clemson.

The offers are light, especially at this stage of the game, but apparently C.J. Spiller likes him, so we shall see.

If you recall, sometime back we suggested that perhaps the Tigers needed a running back this cycle and that’s more so the case now that Kobe Pace is in the portal.

The thought was the Tigers would get “a” back this cycle, but go all out in pursuit of a top-tier back in the Class of 2024.

But with Pace in the portal, the Tigers may look to add a second running back to the 2023 cycle.

Are Clemson football fans projecting too much on Cade Klubnik?

More to come on this later today, but I’m beginning to wonder if Clemson fans are doing the same thing with Cade Klubnik that they did with D.J. Uiagalelei – expect him to be something he’s not.  Check back later for more on this.

In case you missed it, the Clemson men’s basketball team moved to 8-2 on the season with an 80-75 win over Towson at Littlejohn on Wednesday and face Loyola Chicago Saturday in Atlanta.

Next. Murphy, Bresee likely top 15 draft picks. dark
