Clemson Football is the champion of the ACC, and I have thoughts to share on the quarterbacks.

Dear Cade Klubnik,

You were wonderful Saturday night in Charlotte. The entire energy of the stadium changed when the fans realized you were coming on the field.

I’m sure you were frustrated this year being the second-string guy. Players want to play. A lot of us fans were excited when we saw you play against Georgia Tech. I’m sure you were too.

We also saw the struggles over the rest of the season. It made most of us take a step back and remember you were still learning. I know those struggles challenged you. Based on what we understand of your ethic, I’m sure they made you work harder.

All those tests led to your biggest challenge this past Saturday, and you passed with flying colors.

Celebrate this victory. You deserve it.

I’m looking forward to watching you in the Orange Bowl and next season.

There will be bumps in the road sometimes. It is rare to never have bad days. There might be a lot of noise. Unfortunately it comes with the territory. Just remember there are a lot of fans rooting for you.

Thank you!

Clemson Football will move forward with Cade Klubnik, but I still appreciate DJ Uiagalelei

Dear DJ Uiagalelei,

Thank you for all your efforts during the last two seasons in Clemson. I truly believe you gave the Tigers your best efforts.

There are some who still, and always will deny the positive things you did as a Tiger. No one can take away your 2020 performance in South Bend. You were 20-5 as a starter. There will always be people who put that down because they think a different quarterback would have had a better record, but please shut those voices out. A lot of quarterbacks would give anything to have that kind of record.

I appreciate that you have always conducted yourself with professionalism and class.

I genuinely wish this chapter of your career had a happier conclusion. Wherever you go from here, I hope you find success and happiness.

Thank you!

Next. Potential wide receiver targets in the transfer portal. dark
