Two consecutive impressive performances leave Clemson football with two scheduled games on the 2022 calendar, at least for the time being.

The two teams left, South Carolina and North Carolina, had diametrically different results last weekend with South Carolina blasting previously No. 5 Tennessee 63-38 and North Carolina losing to Georgia Tech 21-17.

While the Tigers and Gamecocks battle this weekend, North Carolina will be taking on the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

With all that in mind, here’s how last week’s results affected Clemson’s win probabilities for the remaining games:

Each team had impressive wins heading into this rivalry game and the odds shifted ever so slightly in the Gamecocks favor, though it’s still heavily tilted towards the Tigers to the tune of 8 in 9.

Clemson is going for their 40th consecutive win in Death Valley and no one on the Clemson roster has ever lost a home football game.

Of course, the streak will come to an end at some point, but the odds are it won’t be this weekend.

The ACC Championship Game, of course, will be played in Charlotte on December 3rd and while the Tigers don’t have the same home field advantage, they should be plenty familiar with the setting.

Clemson football are big favorites to win their final two games and claim the ACC Championship

A couple of solid performances by the Tigers and a clunker by the Tar Heels increased the Tigers odds by slightly more than 5% according to ESPN.

Clemson, of course, is still alive in the eyes of many for a spot in the College Football Playoff, and jumped Alabama in the latest AP Poll, positioning the Tigers in a good spot should they win out and things fall their way over the next two weeks.
