Clemson Football: Visitors for Miami game, update on ’24 QB
Clemson football is looking to put a bow on its 2023 class sooner rather than later, but sometimes these things take time.
There are still a few pieces the Tigers would like to fill before moving on full-time to future classes and one of those is scheduled to be on campus this weekend when the Miami Hurricanes come to town.
Defensive end prospect Tomarrion Parker plans to be in Tiger Town to take in the game on Saturday.

Parker is a consensus top 100 player from a place familiar to Clemson fans and coaches – Central High in Phenix City, Alabama.
At one time Parker was committed to Penn State, but he backed off that pledge in August and since has been linked to Clemson and to that end holds a current crystal ball prediction to the Tigers from Steve Wiltfong at 247sports.com that was entered on September 16.
Wingo is a 6’3, 198 pound, 5-star prospect out of Saint Louis, Mo. that already has a ton of offers as you can imagine with that profile and position, with a projection to Tennessee from Wiltfong.
As Clemson football puts the final touches on the 2023 class, a coveted 2024 QB trends elsewhere
A few days ago we shared the commitment date for 2024 quarterback D.J. Lagway of Willis, Texas who had Clemson in his top 10.
The news seemed encouraging, but at that time I noted that a commitment from Lagway would mean a logjam at the position with Cade Klubnik and 2023 commit Chris Vizzina theoretically in their junior and sophomore years, respectively.
In the era of NIL and transfers 2024 is a long way away and the depth chart could look vastly different at any position, especially quarterback, but the depth chart at Clemson could indeed be an impediment to any thought of Lagway ending up at Clemson as there are other places the signal caller would have a better opportunity to play early.
