Clemson Football: How to watch Clemson-Notre Dame

Clemson football looks to stay undefeated as they travel to South Bend, Indiana to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Saturday evening in Notre Dame Stadium.

The Tigers are ranked No. 4 in the initial College Football Playoff Rankings, while 5-3 Notre Dame is unranked.

Clemson is coming off an off week after eight straight weeks of playing since they kicked off the season Labor Day night in Atlanta.

The last time on the field the Tigers and quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei struggled mightily and he was eventually benched for true freshman Cade Klubnik who led the Tigers back from the brink despite doing little through the air.

In 2020 Uiagalelei, playing in place of Trevor Lawrence, threw for over 400 yards, but Clemson lost to Notre Dame in double overtime in front of only 11,000 fans.  There’ll be a few more on hand Saturday.

How Uiagalelei bounces back from his first bad start of the season could be a key in this game.

Clemson has little room for error in the eyes of the College Football Playoff committee and fans alike and cannot afford a loss and retain any hope of making the playoff.

Notre Dame thumped a beat-up Syracuse team 41-21 last week in Syracuse, New York, handing the Orange their second consecutive loss.

The Irish have struggled at home, losing to Marshall and Stanford.
