Back in early July I endeavored to predict the scores for the 2022 Clemson football regular season games.

I encouraged readers to not take it too seriously and I’ll repeat that here.  I’m often wrong and my guesses are semi-educated.  I didn’t scour film or evaluate the techniques of linemen, but rather used my judgement and best understanding of what’s likely to happen – in my opinion.

It’s a fun exercise and things have changed (Sam Hartman, for one) and I thought since we know more now, maybe some of the scores will change significantly.

Before we get started, we asked the fans and they were rather confident back then.

Things have changed both at Clemson (XT, Tre Williams, Troy Stellato) as well as at other programs.

How are the fans feeling now?

Perhaps it was the Hartman injury, or maybe just getting closer to the season has made the fans feel better about what’s ahead, but the 6-0 choice has gotten a tad more crowded.

The fans have spoken and now, I’ll update (or not) my takes.
