Clemson football: Jamal Anderson 4 star LB commits to Clemson
Clemson football garnered commit number 10 on Monday, when Georgia linebacker Jamal Anderson committed to the Tigers.
To say things are moving fast for Clemson on the recruiting front would be an understatement as the Tigers have received six commitments for the 2023 class in the last week.
The latest is four star linebacker Jamal Anderson from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia.

Anderson, of course, is the son of the former NFL running back of the same name, that played at Utah in college and was selected by Atlanta Falcons in seventh round of 1994 NFL Draft and finished his career with four one thousand yard plus seasons.
The younger Anders is a 6’4, 202 pound linebacking prospect ranked as the 173rd best player in the 247 composite,11th ranked linebacker and 17th best player in Georgia.
Playing mostly outside linebacker, Anderson was named all-region and all-state selection and was credited with 78 tackles, as Mill Creek went 11-2.
Georgia linebacker had multiple offers from big time schools before selecting Clemson
Anderson had offers from Utah, Southern Cal, Miami, Florida, Michigan State, Texas and many other colleges of note.
As of this past Sunday, there were four crystal ball predictions for Anderson to end up at Clemson, including one from a Michigan State insider, which is believed to be Anderson’s second choice.
Anderson joins a rapidly growing list of Clemson commitments that sat at 4 last Monday and now sits at 10 and resides inside the top 10 of the 247.com recruiting rankings.
We said it when Clemson had four commitments and was in the 30s in the rankings and we’ll say it now when things have turned the Tigers way: It’s early and while the Tigers seem to be reeling in a commit every day, there’s more work to be done – a lot more – before we can evaluate this class.
