1. NC State – 10/1 – Week 5

NC State is getting all of the national love for being the team to win the Atlantic side of the ACC this season, and that infuriates all Clemson fans.  Head Coach Dave Doeren is public enemy number 1 for Tiger fans and coaches alike.

The Wolfpack got the victory against the Tigers last season in a game that the Tigers refused to win, in arguably the most infuriating game for Tiger fans.

NC State returns quarterback Devin Leary who gave the Tigers fits last season.  However, they do lose Emeka Emeze who seemed to be open every time Leary needed a big play.  Thayer Thomas returns.  The receiver that scored the game-tying touchdown versus the Tigers in 21.

This is the biggest game of the season, in my estimation because it carries the most weight to the success ot the Tigers in 2022.  The stretch of games gets going the week before at Wake Forest, but a victory there is meaningless unless they can string two in a row against Doeren and the ‘Pack.
