With the NFL draft completed, the only logical step for a college football fan to focus on would be the upcoming season.  The 2022-23 season for the Clemson football is an intriguing one for all to follow.  Will there be a quarterback competition?  Will one qb in particular transfer out if he loses the job a la Kelly Bryant in 2018? Will this defense be better than that 2018 team?  How many recruits will Clemson bring in?  But those questions are for a different article on a different day.

My focus, after the draft, goes to the top games in 22-23.  The season lays out pretty nicely for the Tigers, however there is a stretch of 4 games that looks daunting.

Many fans believe that DJ Uiagalelei will return to the form that we saw during the Notre Dame game two years ago and lead this team unscathed.  There are others in the fan base that believe that the freshman Cade Klubnik will wrestle the starting job away from DJU and be the man going forward.

There is a piece of me that thinks that is why Hunter Johnson is back.  A viable back-up in the same ilk as Chase Brice from years ago, if the job goes to Klubnik and the inevitable transfer happens.

But, like Bryant before, there are at least four games to get that figured out and here I will lay out what I believe are the five best/toughest games of the season.  I am ok with people that disagree, so I would love to see your comments in the spaces allowed, either here or on social media.
