What’s wrong with Clemson baseball?

The weekend trio of Mack Anglin, Nick Hoffman and Nick Clayton has struggled as a whole combing for a 7-8 record, 4.72 ERA and 1.51 WHIP.

Anglin has had several stellar outings and a couple of bad ones, while Clayton and Hoffman have combined for a 5.55 ERA.

More than that, they often don’t make it to or through the fifth inning, taxing the bullpen and adding stress to the team.

In 15 combined starts the duo has totaled 60.2 innings.

Weekday starter Billy Barlow has been much better, but a bad outing has his ERA at 4.55.
