Crisp Offensive Play – No, I’m not expecting perfect passes, blocks and circus catches, but rather that the offense’s timing is on, there’s limited pre-snap penalties and mental errors.

In general, a focused effort.

This may be a more difficult task with all the injuries and top level players sitting out, but still it’s a “want to see”.

Coming off a season where the offense was terrible for the most part, Clemson needs to get off on the right foot and gain some confidence.  A sloppy effort will leave more questions in everyone’s mind and create (or increase) doubt.

Likewise, Wes Goodwin’s the new kid on the block and following a living legend in Brent Venables, so there’ll be plenty of scrutiny on that side of the ball, too.
