The 2021 Clemson football season is quickly coming to a close.

There are only four more opportunities to see the Tigers in action during the regular season– @ Louisville, vs. UConn, vs. Wake Forest & @ South Carolina– and the hope is that there will be a bowl game and potentially a conference title if everything went right to be played in the postseason.

While there are still a couple of goals left on the table for this team, many Clemson football fans have already turned their attention and hope to next season.

Whether you’re still holding out for the best in 2021 or whether you’ve moved on to 2022, here’s a look at five younger Tigers who need to see the field more the rest of the way this season.

Five Clemson football players who need more playing time the rest of the 2021 season

1. WR Beaux Collins

Beaux Collins is steadily seeing his playing time increased each week and he is showing more and more that he is going to be a future playmaker on this offense.

Collins has 11 catches for 97 yards on the season, but one of the things that has been most impressive about him is his ability to create a little separation and garner chemistry with D.J. Uiagalelei.

Probably better than any receiver on the team not named Joseph Ngata, Collins has done a good job at creating some separation and he actually pretty well out of the slot last weekend against Pittsburgh.

He is on the verge of having a big day and there’s no doubt we need to see the freshman on the field more often as the season winds down.
