Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei, who is set to take over as the starter for the Tigers this season, has announced his first NIL endorsement deal.

Uiagalelei took to Instagram this week to announce that he had signed an endorsement deal with the popular fast food chain Bojangles. He said he was proud to announce that he’d be one of the first collegiate athletes to say “It’s Bo Time.”

Uiagalelei signed an agency deal with Vayner Sports earlier this month.

DJ Uiagalelei is going to leave Clemson as a millionaire before it’s all said and done

DJ Uiagalelei still has two full seasons before he’ll be eligible for the NFL and he could technically stay at Clemson for four more years counting this season if he so chose to.

Even in the short amount of time that Uiagalelei will be here if he leaves after his true junior season as all of us expect he will, the truth of the matter is that he’s going to leave here a millionaire.

Clemson offensive lineman Trent Howard revealed in an interview just last week that there are players on the Clemson football team who have already made six figures on NIL deals. And we’re just in the beginning.

While nothing can be confirmed about numbers at this point, it would make sense that Uiagalelei is one of the top earners in NIL on the team at this point and if he’s not, he certainly will be soon.

Companies recognize the power of having the starting quarterback- who is receiving potential Heisman hype- of a program that is going to be a CFB Playoff contender as an endorser of their products. That is only going to increase as Uiagalelei gets on the field and becomes a household name across the nation.

So, here’s a less-than-bold prediction for you: DJ Uiagalelei will leave Clemson as a millionaire.
