The Clemson football program will be looking to bounce back during the 2021 season following two years in which the Tigers were unable to bring home the National Championship.

In Clemson‘s last game, we saw the Tigers get dismantled 49-28 by the Ohio State Buckeyes in the CFB Playoff semifinals and the bad taste of that loss is clearly still sitting in the mouths of many players.

To make those goals a reality, Clemson football must have several players develop over the course of the spring and summer and take the next step on the field. One of the Tigers we’re expecting big things from is sophomore DL Bryan Bresee.

Bresee, who had an extraordinary freshman season, is expected to be one of the top defensive linemen in the country this fall and that’s prominent through Phil Steele’s magazine cover.

Steele’s magazine cover features Bryan Bresee, Spencer Rattler (QB, Oklahoma), Will Anderson (LB, Alabama) and Chris Olave (WR, Ohio State).

Clemson football continuing to get big featured spots shows the brand power that the Tigers have developed

You don’t get any more prominent in terms of preseason College Football than Phil Steele’s magazine. Steele’s projections are read by millions of fans each year and have become a staple in the CFB community as we get ramped up for each upcoming season.

To have Bresee on the cover says a lot about what Steele thinks about Clemson football and the brand power that has been developed under the leadership of Dabo Swinney.

Bresee is absolutely going to be a star and there’s no doubt that he deserves every accolade that is bestowed upon him, but we also know that Steele wants to feature the most prominent programs in the nation and that has a lot to do with why we see Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Oklahoma on the cover.

In our opinion, Bresee has an opportunity to be an All-American this season and- barring injury- there doesn’t seem to be anything standing in the way of him achieving that feat as a sophomore before it’s all said and done.
