At this point last year, Clemson football fans were unsure if we’d even see the Tigers take the field in the fall.

Fast-forward a year later- following a 2020 season in which we got a full year in when many experts said it would be impossible- and there’s almost no doubt that we will not only have College Football back on its regular schedule, but that fans will be back in stadiums at full capacity.

How sweet it is.

If you thought only fans, players and coaches were excited about getting back to normal this season, it’s become apparent that those in charge of broadcast schedules and television programming must be pretty happy, as well.

It’s only May and we already know 1/3 of the start times for the 2021 Clemson football schedule

There was a time that we might know a couple of kickoff times if we were lucky before the season began for Clemson. That’s simply not the case this time around.

We’ve already seen hundreds of game times announced for the upcoming season that stretch past Week 1 and go well into the season.

We already know the kickoff time schedule for the first three weeks of the season for Clemson football and we already have start times for four games:

  • Saturday, Sept. 4: Clemson vs. Georgia (Bank of America Stadium), 7 p.m. on ABC
  • Saturday, Sept. 11: S.C. State at Clemson, 5 p.m. on ACC Network
  • Saturday, Sept. 18: Georgia Tech at Clemson, 3:30 p.m. on either ABC or ESPN
  • Friday, Oct. 15: Clemson at Syracuse, 7 p.m. on ESPN

The ACC already has its first three weeks of the season mapped out entirely barring just a few matchups that are still waiting for times.

Here’s a look at the eight remaining games on the 2021 Tiger schedule that have not received a game time as of yet:

  • @ NC State (Sept. 25)
  • vs. Boston College (Oct. 2)
  • @ Pittsburgh (Oct. 23)
  • vs. Florida State (Oct. 30)
  • @ Louisville (Nov. 6)
  • vs. UConn (Nov. 13)
  • vs. Wake Forest (Nov. 20)
  • @ South Carolina (Nov. 27)

We are officially less than 100 days away from the start of the 2021 season and there’s no doubt that excitement and anticipation are already building in a big way as we head into the summer.

Next. Clemson schedule tougher than given credit. dark
