Clemson football fans will have their eyes on the 2021 NFL Draft to see where their favorite former Tigers end up when it’s all said and done.

Though the draft hasn’t come yet, we already know one link as QB Trevor Lawrence is expected to be taken No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

But what about after Lawrence?

We’ve taken time to break down where each Clemson football player might end up in the draft and today we conclude with OT Jackson Carman.

Where Clemson football fans can expect Jackson Carman to land in the 2021 NFL Draft

Jackson Carman posted on Twitter that no team had spoken with him about playing offensive guard and that he is considered a tackle prospect. Keeping that in mind, let’s look at his ceiling and floor for the NFL Draft.

Jackson Carman’s ceiling

Carman is ranked as a top-10 offensive tackle in this class and we could see about half of those guys ranked before him go in the first-round.

If things worked out perfectly and a franchise who was high on him came on the clock at the right time, we could see him going as a high as the end of Round 2.

Jackson Carman’s floor

Carman has been moving up draft boards and has been rediscovered as a viable prospect, especially, following his pro day. Of course, that’s just by NFL Draft analysts and not by NFL scouts who have told him from the start that he’d be a Day 2 prospect.

At worst, Carman falls to the end of the third-round before a team takes a chance on him.

What ends up happening

Ultimately, the most likely outcome is that Carman ends up in the third round. There might be a team that wants to take a chance on him in Round 2, but we think it’ll likely be the first portion of Round 3 before his name comes off the board.
