Linebacker (4 offers)

Top Targets:

  • Shawn Murphy (5-star ILB; Manassas, VA)
  • Jalon Walker (4-star OLB; Salisbury, NC)
  • Daniel Martin (4-star OLB; Marietta, GA)

There are going to be more linebacker offers in the coming months, but the Tigers are focused in one major name right now: Jalon Walker.

Walker is set to make his commitment on March 28th and all signs point to Clemson football as the favorite. If that holds out, the Tigers will have their top outside linebacker target in this class (one who is being heavily pursued by Ohio State, as well) and there’s a decent chance Walker may end up as 5-star before it’s all said and done.

After Walker’s announcement, we’ll have a clearer understanding of where the Tigers will go next at linebacker. We do expect them to take somewhere in the realm of 2-4 linebackers in this class.
