Clemson football facilities ranked No. 1 in the country, again

There’s no doubt that the facilities enjoyed by Clemson football players are world-class in every single way possible.

For the past few years, 247 Sports has released its rankings of the top facilities in the country and we’ve consistently seen Clemson football at the top.

The publication just released its latest rankings and the Tigers were on top at No. 1 again. Here’s what 247 Sports had to say about Clemson.

"“It’s incredible how much national exposure Clemson’s updated digs have received since the completion of a $55 million facelift in recent years with the Allen N. Reeves Football Complex opening in 2017,” 247 Sports’ Brad Crawford said. “College football’s new “it” program with six consecutive trips to College Football Playoff is now caged inside of the premiere facility in the nation — basically a player’s theme park in rural South Carolina. There’s a clever ode to Memorial Stadium’s ‘Hill’ and ‘Rock’ in the lobby and a metal slide near the back of the building if you need a quick ride downstairs, mere feet from the program’s three national championship trophies.”"

Here’s a look at the top-10 facilities, according to 247 Sports:

  1. Clemson
  2. Oregon
  3. Alabama
  4. Texas A&M
  5. South Carolina
  6. Ohio State
  7. LSU
  8. Northwestern
  9. Texas
  10. Oklahoma

Clemson football remains in a class by itself as the Tigers continue to stay ahead of the curve

The Tigers have done their facilities better than anyone else in the nation and that really can’t be argued. When you step on to campus and see the amount of money and time invested into the program, you can see why many recruits are drawn to Clemson.

Clemson doesn’t just have world-class facilities when it comes to buildings, weight rooms, leisure activities and practice spaces, either. The Tigers have world-class chefs, medical personnel and trainers who help create the whole atmosphere.

When looking at those rankings, it’s easy to see why Alabama and Ohio State are so high. We’re a little surprised that Northwestern isn’t higher than it is. Anyone who has seen the facilities they’ve put up there would be impressed.

South Carolina has made strides over the last few years to upgrade its facilities and give a state-of-the-art experience to its players, but we’re not sure that the Gamecocks should be ranked in the top-five.
