Clemson football: Justyn Ross coming back is a 10-star commitment
Clemson football just gained a 10-star commitment for the 2021 season
The Clemson football program just received an absolute stud commitment for the 2021 season in the form of WR Justyn Ross.
Ross missed the 2020 season due to a spinal condition that was corrected with surgery and he has been working hard and carefully to get back on the gridiron since that point. Ross has been able to run routes and had a good report with his doctor last month when he went for another checkup.
All signs point to him being able to play football again, but there was a question on if he would return to the Clemson football team for another season. After all, he had already garnered All-American status and would’ve had an opportunity to get drafted in this coming spring’s draft if he chose to move on to the NFL.
That being said, Ross announced on Twitter Thursday evening that he would be returning for another season.

Justyn Ross returning to Clemson football is a big deal and that can’t be understated
According to Dabo Swinney, Ross’s likely timetable wouldn’t see him in full contact until the fall. He will be able to run routes and go through workouts in the spring, but he wouldn’t be getting tackled.
While it’s never a guarantee that any player will return to their former self coming off of extended rehab, there’s certainly hope that Ross is going to return to be the monster he once was.
He has been working hard and there’s no doubt that the athleticism is still there. It will still likely take some time to adjust, but Clemson received a 10-star commitment in my opinion through Ross’s announcement.
He has the potential to be a first-team All-American this year and his presence in the boundary is going to open up opportunities for guys like E.J. Williams, Frank Ladson Jr., Joseph Ngata and Brannon Spector.
Ross is now the leader in one of the deepest groups of wide receivers we’ve seen in quite a few years for the Tigers, just proving that ‘WRU’ is here to stay.
