Four predictions sure to happen for Clemson football this weekend vs. The Citadel

The Clemson football team is set to take on The Citadel Bulldogs Saturday afternoon in Death Valley for what will be the first home game of the season.

The Tigers opened up their 2020 campaign with a 37-13 win over Wake Forest in Winston-Salem last Saturday night and will look to continue pressing towards another CFB Playoff berth with a win this week before a bye week.

Here’s a look at four predictions that we feel sure will happen this weekend for Clemson football.

4. D.J. Uiagalelei throws his first TD pass

It’s time for freshman D.J. Uiagalelei to put up his first big-time performance on the stat sheet and that will include him throwing at least one touchdown pass, possibly more.

The freshman threw the ball just three times in the game against Wake Forest, but will get a chance to cut it loose this weekend against The Citadel.

It’s my opinion that Uiagalelei will get his first series to kick off the third quarter and we’ll see him for the entirety of that quarter. Look for him to put up some stats and show Clemson football fans what they have to look forward to beginning next season.
