Five Clemson football players you should be excited to see in 2020

The 2020 Clemson football season is less than two weeks away from the scheduled kickoff date and it’s clear that the Tigers are ready to compete.

Clemson is scheduled to kickoff the 2020 season on Saturday, Sept. 12 against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

As we continue to prepare for the start of the season, here’s a look at five Clemson football players (who aren’t named Trevor Lawrence or Travis Etienne) you should be excited to see.

5. Malcolm Greene

There may not be a freshman who has garnered more praise- though he is the first of three on this list- during fall camp.

Coaches have continued to rave on former 4-star CB Malcolm Greene during camp. Dabo Swinney called Greene ‘as good as the Tigers have ever signed at the position’ and it’s clear that the freshman made a major impact.

No, he won’t be a starter, but he’s going to get on the field sooner rather than later and that very well could lead to him earning a major role in the defensive backfield before it’s all said and done.
