Clemson football traditions are going to be changed in 2020

The 2020 Clemson football season is going to be anything but normal and no stone is going to be left unturned when it comes to what’s affected.

While we’re only two weeks away from the first official game week of the season for Clemson football, there are still plenty of questions that have yet to be answered.

The Tigers are reportedly awaiting approval on a plan to have fans in Death Valley this season, but it will be on a much smaller scale. Reports say somewhere in the range of 16,000-20,000.

But it won’t just be the amount of Clemson football fans in the stadium this season that will be a major change. Here are three Clemson football traditions that are likely to be changed and the reports surrounding them as we progress closer to the start of the season.

Tiger Walk

As much as we love Tiger Walk- a tradition in which Clemson football fans greet the players on their way into the stadium prior to every home game- there is certainly some doubt surrounding that happening this season.

Because of the nature of crowds gathering in confined spaces and the fact that you’d have hundreds- if not thousands- of fans coming in close contact with the players, it doesn’t seem likely that Clemson will allow it to happen.

There hasn’t been any kind of official report or confirmation of this, but one can expect that even if Tiger Walk does happen, it will look very different than what we’ve seen before.
