The Clemson football team is proceeding forward with season preparation

While the entire College Football season seems to be in shambles currently, the Clemson football team is proceeding forward with its preparation.

National Analyst after National Analyst continue to give grave reports on the viability and probability of the 2020 College Football season, but that hasn’t stopped the Tigers from preparing and enter the next phase of preparation.

Clemson football, along with the rest of the country, entered the NCAA’s Phase Two earlier this week as teams can now have mandatory workouts. From July 13 to July 23, student-athletes may be required to participate in up to eight hours of weight training, conditioning and film review per week, but no more than two hours can be conducted in the film room.

Though Clemson football has not started with film review yet, according The State’s Matt Connolly, the Tigers are still continuing with their weight training and conditioning as a way to get ready for the season.

When could the 2020 Clemson football season begin?

The golden question from every Clemson football fan currently is if the season will be played at all. And if it will, when will it be played?

Some believe the season may only be postponed a couple of weeks and start before the end of September. Others have said in October and many others have said the spring.

No matter where you fall on the spectrum- and the truth is that no one knows currently, not even the decision-makers- the one thing we can see is that Clemson football is continuing to prepare for the season as if it’s going to be played on time.

That’s exactly what a championship program should do, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
