Three CFB legends that were bested by Clemson football

The Clemson football program has had its fair share of historical moments over the course of its history.

From winning major bowl games to dominating the ACC to National Championship victories, the Tigers have seen plenty of success.

We’ve seen quite a few legends- including Deshaun Watson, Jeff Davis, Steve Fuller, C.J. Spiller, William ‘The Fridge’ Perry others- come through the program and leave their mark. But what about the other side?

Of course, many Tiger fans have stories that they remember about CFB legends coming and beating the Tigers. A few examples of this include Calvin Johnson in 2004, Donovan McNabb in the 1996 Gator Bowl and even Joe Burrow in the 2020 National Championship game.

But what about the legends who couldn’t get the job done against Clemson? Here’s a look at three prominent legends of College Football who were bested by Clemson football.
