5. Shawn Murphy (4-star LB)

Shawn Murphy is currently rated as the No. 3 overall player in the country and the No. 1 overall linebacker.

Murphy, a 6-foot-2, 220 pound linebacker from Manassas, VA, shows that headhunter ability that you really like to see in a linebacker.

There’s reason to believe that he will be at the top of Brent Venables’ wish list this coming cycle and it will be interesting to see if the Tigers can get him on campus for a recruiting visit sooner rather than later.
