5-star Clemson football OT target Nolan Rucci has released his group of top-nine schools. Here’s the latest on the talented prospect.

The 2021 Clemson football recruiting class is beginning to take shape and there’s no doubt that the Tigers are going to be one of the leaders in the nation.

While Clemson football continues to recruit some of the top prospects from around the nation, the Tigers are zeroing in on a few key targets.

One of those is 5-star OT Nolan Rucci.

Rucci, a Pennsylvania native, is currently ranked as the No. 13 player in the nation and the No. 3 offensive tackle, according to the 247 Sports’ Composite Player Rankings. Rucci is also the No. 1 overall player in the state of Pennsylvania.

Last week, the 5-star OT released his top-nine schools and the Clemson football program made the cut.

Rucci’s top-nine includes Clemson, Wisconsin, Alabama, Penn State, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Stanford.

The big 6-foot-8, 289-pound offensive tackle is one of the most intriguing prospects in the class. He has a frame to hold more than 320 pounds and still move at an incredible rate. When you look at Rucci’s skillset, he has the ability to be a first-round offensive tackle because of his great footwork, strength and explosiveness.

At this point, most recruiting experts believe that Clemson and Penn State are the leaders. The Nittany Lions hold 75 percent of the 247 Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions, but it does seem that the Tigers are trending in the right direction.

Clemson currently has two offensive line commitments in the 2021 class in 4-star OG Marcus Tate and 4-star C Ryan Linthicum. The Tigers are expected to take at least one more offensive tackle and will most likely take two before it’s all said and done.

Next. 5-star DE commit Korey Foreman may be wavering. dark
