Where will Clemson football QB Trevor Lawrence end up when he is drafted next spring? These NFL projections show him ending up as a Washington Redskin.

The Clemson football program has seen many players go on to have a successful career under the leadership of Dabo Swinney, but perhaps none have had more expectations placed upon them than Trevor Lawrence.

The minute that Trevor Lawrence joined the Clemson football program, analysts were already deeming him a ‘future No. 1 overall draft pick.’

Lawrence’s cannon for an arm, mixed with his football IQ, measurables, skill set and athleticism, makes him an absolute dream pro prospect.

Through his first two seasons with Clemson football, Lawrence has been spectacular. He has led the Tigers to back-to-back National Title appearances and two ACC Championships.

As he heads into his junior year, there is an expectation that Lawrence will declare for the  2021 NFL Draft following this season and then become the instant No. 1 overall pick.

Bleacher Report released win totals for the 2020 NFL season  and it’s looking more and more like Trevor Lawrence will be headed north following his final season with the Clemson football program.

Here’s a look at the NFL teams with the least wins projected:

  • Washington Redskins (4.5)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (4.5)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (5)
  • Carolina Panthers (5.5)
  • New York Giants (5.5)
  • Miami Dolphins (6)

Obviously, looking at these win totals, you could see Lawrence heading south to Jacksonville if the Jaguars got the first pick in the draft, but there are still thoughts that the Jaguars could make a move this year at quarterback- whether that be in the draft or with a trade.

The Redskins, though they have Dwayne Haskins, there has been plenty of talk that they are looking for another quarterback and would absolutely take Trevor Lawrence should they get the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft.

What do you think, Tiger fans? Is he just destined to end up in Washington?
