Where will former Clemson football standout Isaiah Simmons end up? Here are the Vegas odds on where he falls in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Clemson football program has produced some elite-level professionals over the course of its history and one of the next will be LB/S Isaiah Simmons.

Simmons- who finished his final season with the Clemson football program with 104 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks- is expected to be one of the top picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.

The latest Vegas odds were released for where Simmons will fall in the 2020 NFL Draft and his number is set at 6.5.

Simmons has been projected as high as No. 3 to the Detroit Lions and as low as outside of the top-10. Two of the most popular landing spots for the former Clemson football LB are the New York Giants (No. 4) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 9).

Interestingly enough, Simmons would tie the Clemson football program record for the highest-taken draft pick if he was selected by the Giants at No. 4. Currently, Bank McFadden, Sammy Watkins and Clelin Ferrell were all taken at No. 4.

When looking at Simmons’ overall body of work in college and his NFL Combine performance, there’s no reason to believe that he won’t be a top-10 pick. Right now, I would expect to see the Giants take him with that No. 4 pick as he would provide a nice, versatile option for a defense that is need of a player with his skill set.

Simmons proved to be one of the greatest defenders to ever play under Dabo Swinney during his time at Clemson and he certainly should have a chance to succeed and excel at the next level, in the right system.

Simmons’ athleticism, physicality and versatility set him apart from any other prospect in this draft class and that’s why he is regarded as such a valuable commodity.
