Former Clemson football S K’Von Wallace doesn’t care that he’s had doubters. He’s clearly out to show what he is capable of becoming.

The 2020 NFL Combine was an event that should make Clemson football fans proud.

Though the Tigers don’t have as many draftable players as normal- because most of the team is returning- there were still plenty of fireworks from the Tigers’ camp.

One of the biggest fireworks came from the performance of Clemson football S K’Von Wallace.

Though many NFL scouts and analysts have doubted what Wallace can do at the next level, it was clear he was out to prove the naysayers wrong during the NFL Combine.

Wallace ran a 4.53 40-time, did 18 reps on the bench press, had an impressive 38-inch vertical jump, had a 133-inch broad jump and ran an impressive 6.76 time during the 3-cone drill.

He noted on Twitter that the bench press should’ve been 20 reps.

Wallace’s impressive performance certainly allowed him an opportunity to garner interest from several NFL scouts that likely weren’t considering him ahead of time. Though he’s not likely to vault up NFL Draft boards, Wallace solidified himself as a mid-rounder with a high upside.

He left Indianapolis as one of the biggest winners from the safety position and proved that he has the ability to compete at the next level.

It will be interesting to see how Wallace performs at the Clemson football Pro Day and how his spring shapes out heading into the NFL Draft, which takes place in April.
