Trevor Lawrence enters what will most likely be the final season of his Clemson football career. Here’s how he leaves as the GOAT.

It’s going to take a lot for anyone to unseat Deshaun Watson as the GOAT of Clemson football.

Watson took the Clemson football program to the next level and led the Tigers to two National Championship appearances, while also finishing as a Heisman finalist twice.

Though Watson- and several other Clemson football players- hold a special place in the hearts of Tiger fans, Trevor Lawrence has an opportunity to leave as the greatest of all-time before it’s all said and done.

Here are five things Lawrence must to do to become the GOAT.

5. Just keep winning

Let’s start with the simplest: Lawrence needs to continue winning.

If Trevor Lawrence finishes this regular season undefeated (12-0), he would have finished off yet another perfect regular season and would be 37-1 as a starter since entering the Clemson program heading into the postseason. That’s pretty impressive.

When you talk about quarterbacks, you have to mention winning and none would have done a better job than Lawrence if he finishes off this season the way he has the previous two.
