Former Clemson football WR Tee Higgins met with the media Tuesday to discuss several topics and he’s already had an interesting interview.

Several former Clemson football players are participating in the 2020 NFL Combine events this week and one of the biggest names is WR Tee Higgins.

Higgins is projected to be anywhere between a first-round pick in the 17-32 range to a second-round pick who could fall to the midway point of that round.

NFL scouts love Higgins’ size, hands, athleticism and physicality. Many have raised questions, though, about his ability to create separation and are still learning more about the Clemson football wide receiver.

Higgins met with the media Tuesday and discussed several franchises that he has met with or has interest in. One of his informal meetings was with the New England Patriots.

The Patriots obviously have some major decisions to make this offseason, but none bigger than bringing back QB Tom Brady. If New England can bring Brady back, though, could you imagine the connection between Brady and Higgins?

New England hasn’t had a wide receiver with as much talent as Higgins probably since Randy Moss and he’d be able to come in and make an immediate impact.

Higgins also expressed interest in the Buffalo Bills, who he will have a formal meeting later this week. He has also reportedly had meetings with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.

It will be interesting to see where Higgins falls and how he performs at the NFL Combine. There’s reason to believe he could solidify himself as a first-round prospect with a good performance and he’ll be able to prove to NFL scouts that he deserves to be mentioned as one of the best wide receivers in this draft class.

People clearly haven’t paid attention to Higgins over the course of his career, but he’s going to turn heads sooner rather than later.
