Though many of the national media members are overlooking Amari Rodgers, the Clemson football WR is ready for a huge 2020.

Amari Rodgers didn’t quite put up the statistics that many Clemson football fans had hoped for when it was revealed that he had made a marvelous recovery and would be available for the majority of the 2019 season.

The Clemson football WR wasn’t targeted quite as often as many would’ve liked to see and the result was times where he was fairly quiet on the field. Rodgers announced that he’d be returning for his senior season and automatically, in the minds of most Tiger fans, became one of the top returning WRs in the country.

Though Clemson football nation knows what kind of WR Rodgers can develop into and the season he is poised to have, many national media members are overlooking him on their watchlists.

Rivals’ Mike Farrell released his top-10 wide receivers in the country for the 2020 season and Rodgers took notice.

Farrell included Ja’Marr Chase, Devonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Tylan Wallace, Rashod Bateman, Justyn Ross, George Pickens, Rondale Moore, Chris Olave and TuTu Atwell as his top-10.

Though Rodgers isn’t going to be recognized as one of the top returners in this 2020 offseason, there’s plenty of reasons to believe that he’ll become more of a force this season than we’ve ever seen before.

Rodgers has the speed, athleticism and footwork to be a big-time play-maker (as we’ve seen through his first three seasons with Clemson football) and I believe that will just be amplified this season.

It’s okay for the rest of the nation to keep sleeping on Amari Rodgers, but don’t be surprised when he’s putting up All-American numbers and rising up the prospect boards at an extremely high rate for the 2021 NFL Draft.
