The 2020 early enrollees will participate in their first spring practice this coming week with the Clemson football program.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class was ranked as one of the best in the nation because of all the talent that the Tigers brought into the program.

Not only were the Tigers able to gain commitments from some of the top recruits in the country, they were also able to find fits in which the vast majority of the commitments were early enrollees.

As we get set for the start of spring practice, here are five newcomers for Clemson football fans to watch in spring practice.

5. E.J. Williams, 4-star WR

The wide receiver room has plenty of talent, but not much depth or experience heading into the spring.

The Tigers return Justyn Ross, Amari Rodgers, Frank Ladson Jr., Joseph Ngata, Cornell Powell and Brannon Spector (redshirt freshman) from last year’s team.

Though those returners are expected to get the majority of the snaps, don’t be surprised to hear E.J. Williams’ name called quite a bit during practice.

Williams is extremely talented and has the ability to come in and make an immediate impact. He’s going to have a spot on the depth chart at wide receiver and we’re going to see him find a way to get on the field as a freshman.
