2. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are in ‘limbo land’ when it comes to the QB position.

The organization still has Cam Newton on the roster for another season, but he has been injury-plagued and seemingly has taken major steps backwards since that magical 2015 season.

The Panthers have a high draft pick (No. 7 overall) and have been in the discussion for drafting Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa for quite some time. But what if the organization holds off on drafting a QB this year, takes a guy like Isaiah Simmons or Jeff Okudah to sure-up the defense, and then tanks for Trevor Lawrence?

Lawrence would be a perfect fit to play in Charlotte and that would definitely be an option Clemson football fans could get behind.
