Clemson Football: 5 defenders poised to breakout in 2020
2. Andrew Booth, CB
We all know that Derion Kendrick will be the starter at one cornerback position, but the spot opposite-side of him is wide open.
Andrew Booth will compete with Sheridan Jones, Mario Goodrich and a plethora of other defensive backs for that spot and, in the end, I believe he’ll win it.
Booth has great physicality and can be elite in coverage. He is bigger than many of the other cornerbacks out there and has the ability to develop into a first-round cornerback.
That all begins this season when he takes over as a starter.
