4. Nolan Turner, S
Nolan Turner is going to start at safety this season and he certainly has his work cut out for him.
Turner has shown the ability to be a solid safety, but has been beaten several times in coverage at the position. He had a rough night against Ohio State, but came away with the game-winning interception just a couple of months ago.
Now, he’ll be tasked with putting it all together and becoming a leader on the back-end of that secondary.
Turner has absolutely outplayed his star-rating coming into the Clemson football program and it will all be about taking the next steps forward this season.
